Cinnamon French Toast


  • 3/4 cup whole milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 4 slices whole wheat bread
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tbs butter
  1. Whisk together the egg and milk.
  2. Heat the butter in a frying pan until melted.
  3. Dip each slice of bread into the milk mixture until soaked.
  4. Lower bread into pan, and sprinkle with cinnamon.
  5. Cook until one side is golden brown, then flip and continue to cook.
  6. Serve hot.
