- 2 lb. dry shells or elbow macaroni
- 1 lb kosher sharp cheddar cheese, grated
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup plain bread crumbs
- Preheat the oven to 375.
- While the oven is heating, boil a large pot of water on the stove.
- Cook pasta until tender
- Spread pasta in a glass cooking pan.
- Mix grated cheese into pasta.
- Sprinkle bread crumbs on top.
- Pour the cream over the pasta, making sure to distribute it evenly.
- Bake until the cheese is melted and the top layer of pasta is crispy.
