Mexican Hot Chocolate Brownies


  • Brownie mix
  • 2 cups whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup confectioners sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp cyanne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp cloves
  1. Prepare brownies from mix according to directions. Add half the volume of each spice to the batter.
  2. Allow brownies to cool completely
  3. Mix cocoa powder, cream, sugar, and cornstarch in a large bowl.
  4. Whisk cream mixture until evenly mixed and beginning to stiffen.
  5. Add spices, and continue to mix until stiff.
  6. Spread cream mixture over the brownies, and chill until ready to serve.
