Hash Browns


  • 5 large russet potatoes, peeled
  • 1 tbs butter
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  1. Mince the potatoes to the size of large rice grains. This is most easily done with a food processer.
  2. Mix salt and pepper into potatoes.
  3. Heat the butter in a large pan. Move it around with a spatula to cover the entire bottom of the pan.
  4. Add the potatoes, making sure to spread them out over the bottom of the pan.
  5. Cook, turning frequently, until crispy and golden brown.
